We seek to give each student a well-rounded musical education which will stimulate a lifetime of music appreciation!

Computerized listening lab  

Computerized piano theory*

Integrated digital recording studio (piano)

Music theory and history

Performance opportunities

Piano accompaniment for strings available for performances

*Geared more towards piano students, but guitar/string students are welcome to participate.

 

The Studio:   

What sets the studio apart from many others.

The home studio was designed specifically with our students in mind.  A private entrance brings you into our reception area and computer center, where students work on their individual computerized music assignments. 

 

The adjacent teaching studio features high quality acoustic and digital pianos.  as well as acoustic and digital recording equipment.  This gives each  student the opportunity to record their progress and accomplishments to a CD to bring home and review.  Available to Friday cello students at this time only.

 

Cello students have the recording studio available on Fridays only.  Monday thru Thursday lessons are held in an secondary room just off of the reception area.   This room is large enough to accommodate up to 8 players at a time.

 

Lesson Information:

Each student is scheduled for:

40 weekly lessons per year

4 informal/formal performance opportunities
